WAIPAPAKAURI || TOURISTS IGNORE WARNING

Locals who live in and around the coastal region of Waipapakauri situated in the Far North of NZ north island, know only too well what the spoils of tourism attract and bring into the area.

Above a typical example of how tourists blindly ignore warning signs put in place by the FNDC on a delicate area under DUNE PROTECTION.

What is disheartening is the continuation of this human type of thinking and behaviour and this impact it will have on the enviroment. If a sign reads

WARNING UNSTABLE AREA PLEASE KEEP OFF or DUNE PROTECTION PLEASE KEEP OFF.

Please keep off these areas, it is as simple as that.
